Clement began in 1936…
Established in 1936 by Clyde Clement, Clement Lumber has been a cornerstone of quality construction materials and exceptional customer service in Spartanburg. For three generations, we’ve served the great Spartanburg areas with unwavering commitment.
In 1937, we opened our doors at 1759 Union Street, and since then, we’ve continued to uphold our legacy of excellence. Today, Clement Storage remains family-owned and operated, offering large self-storage, commercial flex space, climate-controlled units, and RV spaces.
Similar to our predecessors, we pride ourselves on delivering old-fashioned customer service that’s second to none. We’re dedicated to supporting the building industry and giving back to our community through initiatives like Rebuilding Together.
Rebuilding Together is a national nonprofit organization focused on making essential repairs to help our neighbors in need stay in their homes. The local Spartanburg affiliate and volunteers, like us, work closely with community residents and leaders to revitalize our neighborhoods.
Beyond our commitment to community service, we’ve also played a role in revitalizing our own locations in Spartanburg. In 2015, we acquired the Hidden Hill Shopping Center, and in 2018, the Southport Industrial Park. In 2022, we proudly added the historic Pabst Blue Ribbon warehouse on S. Daniel Morgan Ave, built in 1968, to our portfolio.
